Haalebeedu Shantinath Basadi

Built in the 12th century during the Hoysala era, the complex features three main basadis (temples) dedicated to the Tirthankaras Parshvanatha, Shantinatha, and Adinatha.

πŸ“œ About

We can find 3 ancient temples all constructed within a single complex by queen Shantadevi in 12th century. The 3 temples have 18 feet Parshwanath, 2 feet Aadinath and 18 feet Shantinath as moolnayak. The Halebeedu Jain temple architecture is special because of its highly polished lathe-turned pillars, and intricate pillar carvings.
