Bangalore to Hyderabad Heritage Trail

Day 1
1. Penukonda Jain Temples

150 kms from bangalore, penukonda features three significant ancient Jain temples - the Pachhe Parshwanath temple being one of them famous for green stone idol of Shree Parshwanath Bhagwan.
2. Konda Kunda, Konakondla
Tirth140 kms from Penukonda, this is the sacred birthplace of Acharya Kunda Kunda. Also features a 1,700-year-old rock carving depicting the ancient “Jambudweep”, a cosmic map of the Jain universe. You can catch train to Hyderabad from Guntakal railway station, which is 6 kms from here or drive to Hyderabad (340 kms).
